In the context of the certificate program, philosophy or values and norms can be studied as a third subject. In this case, the subjects philosophy and values and norms can be studied in their full scope in the bachelor's (FüBa) and master's (LG) phases, minus the specialized internship and teaching-focused elements. The teaching qualification is awarded upon examination by the appropriate educational authority.

M.Ed. students may join the certificate program from the third semester of study onward. Admission to any subject area is possible, as long as there is sufficient free space.
