Please join us for the SOCRATES workshop "Models And Trust: Highlighting Issues Across Science”, taking place 6-7 June in the Senatssaal at the Welfenschloss. The workshop brings together leading international philosophers of science to discuss important challenges in regard to models, trust, and values, including: the limitations of climate analogue models, the erosion of public trust due to polarization, the distinction between research and pseudo-research, and the pitfalls of expansive conceptions of health. All members of the institute as well as all MA students of the Philosophy of Science programme are invited to attend and join the discussion!
