PROFILE

I studied at the Australian National University, have been a postdoctoral researcher at the Leibniz University Hannover since 2015, and, in November, will be taking up an assistant professorship at Utrecht University.

I like to write about a broad range of topics in applied ethics, particularly to do with biomedical and technological ethics. Right now, I'm working on a couple of projects which focus, in various ways, on policy responses to COVID-19 (see publications and public outreach below for more details). I'm also working on a book connecting theoretical ideas about autonomy and personal identity to practical concerns.
