Profile
Philippe van Baßhuysen holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the London School of Economics (2019). Prior to this, he completed a Master of Science in philosophy of science at the LSE, after studying philosophy, mathematics and social sciences at Heidelberg University and the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has been a research associate at the Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Science (CPNSS) at the LSE since 2019.
He is currently a postdoc (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) at the LUH in the project 'Bias and Discrimination in Big Data and Algorithmic Processing'. He frequently appears in public debates on topics such as climate change, migration or health policy.
