Profile

Irene Buchholz studied philosophy, social science and educational science at the Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität in Münster and the Université Montpellier I. She completed her studies with a thesis on Montaigne's Essais. As part of her studies, she completed an internship at the Seminar für Didaktik und Lehrerbildung in Heilbronn. Her final qualification was earned upon the submission of a thesis focusing on the promotion of intercultural competency through the use of film. Upon the completion of her internship, she worked as student advisor at a Gymnasium in Münster und held seminars on didactics at the Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität.

Currently she is a "wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin" with a focus on didactics in philosophy at the Leibniz University Hannover. She is the student advisor for the "Werte und Normen" Master's students. Her research focuses on the connection between accusation and guilt.
