Former Institute library

The former collection of the Institute's library is currently being integrated into the TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library.
The new location of philosophical literature is the TIB Philosophy / History, Im Moore 21 (courtyard building), 30167 Hannover.

The two most important libraries for philosophy students and researchers in Hannover are the Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB) and the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Bibliothek.

At both libraries, registration is free of charge with the Leibniz Card.

The TIB section for Philosophy/History is located at Im Moore 21 (courtyard building), 30167 Hannover. Books can be loaned and used on site. There are also individual workspaces and a group study room available to library users.

The TIB's Philosophy Gateway offers general information and support for finding and borrowing literature.
