Stefano Canali, M.Sc.
I am a PhD candidate working under the supervision of Thomas Reydon at the DFG Research Training Group Integrating Ethics and Epistemology of Scientific Research. Before coming to Hannover, I studied Philosophy at the University of Milan and received a MSc at the Science and Technology Studies department of University College London.
I am one of the editors of the Italian Journal of Analytic Philosophy - Junior, which publishes peer-reviewed articles written by graduate students as well as interviews, reports and reviews produced by the editorial board.
My primary research interests are in the philosophy of science, particularly the philosophy of the life sciences and the philosophy of information. I am currently working on the use and impact of big data in the life sciences, investigating epistemological, methodological and ethical aspects of big data science.
