Center for Philosophy and Ethics of Science (ZEWW)

The Center for Philosophy and Ethics of Science (ZEWW) is a working group within the Insitute of Philosophy of the Leibniz Universität Hannover. Its members teach and conduct research in the fields of philosophy of science and ethics of science, as well as in the broader domain of philosophy in general. A specific task of the ZEWW is to further the interdisciplinary discourse at the Leibniz Universität Hannover on science and related issues in philosophy, society, politics, etc. In order to achieve this task, the ZEWW organizes an open colloquium that runs during the semesters on Tuesday evenings, and the public Leibniz Lectures that are held every year in the summer semester.
